Wow! The 2025 season just flew by!! So much more lavender growing! We are constantly learning and adapting to this process. Looks like we will focus on live plant sales next year. Sunflowers are phasing out. Still have one row of cosmos and a patch of wildflowers. Looking forward to a little rest this winter!
The Farm
Sapphire Farms began in 2020 with a dream of a beautiful lavender field on our 10-acre property. After enduring some hiccups with receiving lavender plants the first year, I decided to grow Sunflowers. In the late summer, early fall I decided to make bouquets in mason jars with pretty sunflower ribbon, and sell them with donating half the proceeds to the local volunteer fire department. It’s been a beautiful journey taking it one step at a time.
